Board Members

Vera Chinikaylo is a Financial Service Representative for Horizon Credit Union here in Missoula, MT. She was born in Belarus and raised in Missoula where she graduated from the University of Montana with honors with a degree in Elementary Education. After graduation she took on her dream job of teaching abroad at several private schools. While teaching and living abroad she collaborated with school directors from the region to implement western teaching practices and philosophies in the school system. After returning to the US and being hit with new norms of COVID she took on a new career path with Horizon Credit Union where she has been employed for the last three years. In her role Vera is involved in being a brand ambassador for Horizon with community engagement and networking opportunities, while building her expertise between both consumer and commercial lending.

Vera has been on the membership committee for close to a year and has recently been elected to the Board. Vera is excited for this new opportunity to serve Missoula, it’s residents and businesses alike.
