Board Members

Jennifer Sweten is the Interim General Manager at Mountain Line, the 2021 APTA System of the Year. She has over 25 years of transportation safety and security experience and holds safety certifications from the World Safety Organization, Transportation Safety Institute, and the US Department of Transportation. In addition, she is a 2021 graduate of Washington State’s “Transit’s Next Leader Institute”.

Jen is committed to making transit more responsive, convenient, and accessible to all customers while improving the workplace for all employees.

Jen has been instrumental in the development and implementation of several major projects including the introduction of 361 day/year service, transition to a zero-fare system, and the addition of battery-electric buses as part of a zero-emission initiative. These projects and others contributed to a 70% increase in ridership.

Away from work, Jen and her wife enjoy traveling and spending time with family.
