DESCRIPTION:Hosted by Healthy Acres Foundation & Missoula Butterfly House along with Park Side Credit Union \nThe Missoula Butterfly House and Insectarium’s mission is to inspire an appreciation and understanding of insects and their relatives. In late 2023\, they realized their long-term dream of opening a tropical butterfly house and insect museum in Missoula\, MT. Through exhibits\, field trips\, and special programs their approach to learning involves hands-on\, interactive experiences with some amazing animals – leaving learners of all ages with a deep and lasting impression and a desire to learn more. Their education programs create powerful learning experiences that engage multiple senses\, provide tangible and memorable experiences\, foster emotional connections\, and inspire a sense of responsibility and curiosity about the natural world. \nHealthy Acres Healthy Communities Foundation is the non-profit arm of the Missoula County Department of Ecology and Extension\, providing philanthropic support for educational programs and resources in the areas of land management\, nutrition\, invasive species\, 4-H\, youth and horticulture. The new location provides opportunities to engage more deeply with the community and continue to develop partnerships to help them grow. \nPark Side Credit Union serves its 30\,000 members and local communities by focusing on relationships.
