Emily is the Director of Economic and Land Development for Missoula County as well as the Director of the Missoula Fairgrounds.  She oversees the Tax Increment Financing (TIF) and land development projects for Missoula County including the ambitious redevelopment of the County Fairgrounds, which are in the heart of Midtown. Her background is in land use planning, infrastructure development, public relations, and community organizing. Fairground’s improvements have helped Midtown realize its potential by catalyzing a symbiosis of life, work, and recreation in the area.

Emily is the Chair of the Midtown Master Planning process which is underway to create a space for residents, workers, and users to articulate their vision for the neighborhood.
